The turning point comes in 2016: Stefanie Etter discovers resin. The encounter between synthetic resin and the artist becomes a key moment. For both of them.

Etter introduces resin and its artistic applications to the German-speaking world. She turns synthetic resin into a trendy medium that has since enriched the lives of many people. And through working in flow, she becomes aware of her neurodivergence. Resin becomes momentum for the artist.

However, it takes some time before Etter makes a groundbreaking decision: after decades, she leaves her secure job at an international corporation to devote herself entirely to her lifelong dream of art. Synthetic resin and its limitless possibilities fuel her courage to take this step.

Etter quickly established herself as a leading expert on resin throughout Europe.

This was facilitated by her multidimensional approach, which enabled her to identify opportunities and create moments.

In Etter's case, this includes: thoroughly understanding epoxy resin from both an artistic and chemical perspective; founding an art academy; initiating the distribution of resin; and launching an award-winning standard work on the application of resin.
And, of course, her works, which inspire collectors worldwide with their emotional depth and power.

For years, the artist has been using not only resin, but also textured materials, glass, bitumen, spray paint, wax, and other materials for her mixed media art. In doing so, she draws viewers into a world full of depth: visual, tactile, and emotional.

Etters' inner self, which is characterized by her own and universal polarities, is reflected in colors, materials, and forms. To achieve the powerful effect of her paintings, she also draws on knowledge she acquired during her training as an art therapist.
