The enchanting, frosty colors of winter inspire me to create profound yet joyful moods that are reflected in my paintings. In my studio, much revolves around the cold season – snow and ice, light and darkness.
This season reveals unique color nuances of forest and water that evoke thoughts of vastness, patience, and confidence.
Winter is a very special time for me. The harmonious color scheme is created by numerous color mixtures and layers directly on the canvas, extending across entire series of works and blending into the material structures like a soothing veil.
This gives the works an enchanting lightness, gentleness, and dreamlike infinity.
